The Hui celebrates Matariki with a special bilingual episode from Takaparawhau in Tāmaki Makaurau. As the host iwi for the national Matariki celebrations, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei kaikōrero Precious Clark and Robbie Pāora reflect on the significance of Takaparawhau, the revitalisation of te reo Māori, and how Matariki continues to strengthen identity, culture and connection across Aotearoa.

Julian Wilcox travels to Whakatāne to meet eco-conscious and holistic ta moko artist Dr Turumakina Duley to see how he uses tattoo and sacred skin markings as a tool for healing the body, mind and spirit.
